We are pleased to bring you once again, the Research Support Community Day 2020, to coincide with the VALA Conference. This day is aimed at anyone involved in research support and services in academic libraries. You don’t have to be working in the area or have experience in delivering services to researchers; we encourage a wide range of perspectives and welcome all, including those new to academic libraries. Sessions will be facilitated by research librarians who actively develop and deliver research services, and there will be plenty of time for discussion.
The program has presentations from a variety of speakers including researchers, librarians, and e-research specialists. There will be opportunities to network and to hear what other Australian research and academic libraries are doing in the research support and services space. Institutional initiatives will be showcased in lightning talks.
Date: Monday, 10 February 2020
Time: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Venue: Deakin Downtown, Level 12, Tower 2, 727 Collins Street, Melbourne Victoria 3008
This event is being hosted by Deakin University Library.
Maps and information about Deakin Downtown are available at https://www.deakin.edu.au/locations/deakin-corporate-centres/deakin-downtown
