Research Support Community Day
A community day for librarians who support researchers
We are please to share that RSC Day 2020 will take place on Monday 10 February 2020 at Deakin University in Melbourne. This is in the same week as the VALA 2020 conference.
We will share more details towards the end of 2019.
We would like to thank our generous sponsors – SAGE Publishing, Clarivate Analytics and the University of Sydney. Without them, RSC Day 2019 would not be possible!
We have sold out!
Due to popular demand, we will be livestreaming our presentations if you cannot make it in person. Please note that remote workshop participation will not be possible.

See you in Sydney!
We are pleased to bring you once again, Research Support Community Day 2019, to coincide with the THETA Conference. This day is aimed at anyone involved in research support and services in academic libraries. You don’t have to be working in the area or have experience in delivering services to researchers; we encourage a wide range of perspectives and welcome all, including those new to academic libraries. Sessions will be facilitated by research librarians who actively develop and deliver research services, and there will be plenty of time for discussion.
The program will include presentations from a variety of speakers including researchers, librarians, and e-research specialists. There will be opportunities to network and to hear what other Australian research and academic libraries are doing in the research support and services space. Insitutional initiatives will be showcased in lightning talks.
Date: Friday 24 May 2019
Time: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Venue: Case Study Lecture Theatre 1070, Abercrombie Building, University of Sydney.
This event is being hosted by the University of Sydney Library.
Maps and information about the University of Sydney campus are available at http://sydney.edu.au/maps/index.shtml
The next Research Support Community Day will take place on Friday 24 May (in the week of THETA) at the University of Sydney.
We look forward to seeing you there!
